Dial-Up Networking Setup for Windows Vista

  • Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center. Next, click on Set up a connection or network
  • OR
  • Go to Start, then Connect To. Next, click on Set up a connection or network.
  • Click on Set up a dial-up connection.

  • Choose the modem that you want to connect with, from the list of modems that appear on the screen. If there are no modems listed then you either do not have a modem installed on your computer or your modem is not installed properly.
Type in the following account information in the appropriate fields:
  • Dial-up phone number: 019 833 1201.
  • If you have call waiting, you may need to have it disabled when you are connectedt to the Internet.
  • User name: Type your username (username@ccregion.com.au)
  • Password: Type your password. Place a check in the box next to "Remember this password", if you don't want to type the password every time that you connect.
  • Connection name: Enter a name for the connection (ex: CCRegion).

Type in the following account information in the appropriate fields:
  • Click Connect to save your connection and get connected to the Internet.
  • To connect to the Internet in the future, go to Start and Connect to. A list of your connections should appear. Select your CCregion connection and click Connect.

  • The connection window should appear. Click Dial to get connected to the Internet.
